Santa Fe, New Mexico interior design project by SCW Interiors featuring rustic and textured elements.
This Santa Fe project features diamond-dust plaster and rustic ceiling beams throughout. In the Great Room a pair of J Redmond sofas sit opposite one another, with a pair of chairs upholstered in an Osborne & Little fabric with a chevron pattern. The windows are dressed with full-length drapery panels, and a woven wood shade. The corner fireplace is a quintessential element in this New Mexican home. The large bronze chandelier is by Arteriors.
The dining area, off the kitchen, features a round table with a wrought iron base. The chairs frames are also wrought iron, with strung leather seats and backs. A vintage cabinet stores books. The drapery panels are fabricated in an Osborne & Little fabric in rich reds and oranges with accents of green.
Santa Fe Kitchen
As showcased in this image, the house features lovely carved natural wood beams. The kitchen is simple, but highly functional. The white perimeter cabinetry is accented with a painted green island. In the adjacent dining space is a standing desk with an iron base and hammered brass knobs. The contemporary arched table lamp is by Regina Andrew, and the pendant over the dining table is by Arteriors.
Second Floor Sitting Area
A deep sofa provides a cozy spot for lounging on the second floor. A flat weave rug provides a punch of color.
Divine Green Guest Suite
The guest bedroom features an upholstered green bed with a matching tester overhead. A pair of brass sconces are mounted above. The green night table is by Chelsea Textiles, and the cowhide bench is by Bernhardt.
Southwestern Master Bedroom
The master bedroom features a king bed by Mr. Brown in a rustic white pine finish. It is upholstered in Jane Shelton floral fabric in rustic reds and greens. The spool chair is by Emerson Bentley, and is upholstered in a Kerry Joyce red and white otomi print. The wool herringbone area rug is by Tamarian.
Guest Bedroom Built-Ins
For clothing storage, a custom white armoire was added to the guest bedroom. Pulls are by Anthropologie.
Sitting Room Console
A vivid oil painting is displayed over a rustic green console. A hand-glazed ceramic lamp base in a bright ochre provides a pop of color. Unique local pottery and hand-made goods are displayed throughout the home.
Native American Portrait
A vintage oil portrait featuring a Native American woman is displayed over the guest bed.
This iron metal bench by Bernhardt is upholstered in a brown and white cowhide. The custom area rug shown beneath is contoured to the space in green wool.
Ristras, or strings of dried chilies, are said to bring both good health and good luck to those who hang them in their home. This one is hung on an antique chest in the master bedroom.
Oil Painting Featuring Birch Trees
This vibrant oil painting is displayed over the hearth in the master bedroom. It features birch trees in white and greens with a bold yellow sky, and vibrant red foliage.

This Donatella mirror by Made Goods features a hand-carved sunburst frame in teak.
Display Cabinet with Fabric Bird Strand
A pop of color is added to the antique cabinet in the dining room via a chimed strand of fabric birds.
Beautifully Carved Antique Cabinet
This vintage cabinet with detailed hand-carved doors serves as a TV cabinet in the main living space. An old burnt red trunk is displayed on top.
Entry Space with Cowhide Mirror
The walls throughout the home are finished in a diamond-dust plaster, which is typical for the region. A full length cowhide mirror provides a spot to check oneself before running out the door. The beautiful bell jar lantern, by Canopy Designs, features Native American portraiture.
Bathroom Console Sink, White Full Bath
This first floor bathroom features a bead-board wainscot in white. The console sink is by Restoration Hardware. The bone inlay mirror provides a nice accent piece in this calm, white space.
